- Case Statistics
In September 2019, the Commissioner’s Office received a total of 1161 cases, including:
- 515 cases in connection with freedom of information,
- 494 cases in connection with personal data protection,
- 152 cases relating to both spheres of competence and operations of the Commissioner’s Office.
A total of 3.426 pending cases were carried forward from the previous period (3143 – freedom of information, 215 – data protection, 68 – other cases).
A total of 1052 cases were resolved during this month (382 - freedom of information, 515 – data protection, 155 – harmonisation of the law and regulations).
There are 3.535 cases pending (3.276 – freedom of information, 194 – data protection and 65 - harmonisation of the law and regulations).
According to the available call records, 2.196 contacts with citizens and public authorities were made to provide advice on the exercise of freedom of information and with citizens and personal data controllers for consultations in connection with implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection and cases handled.
