The Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection Rodoljub Sabic deems that the pending removal of confidentiality mark from the information regarding the case of Draza MIhajlovic should be the first step towards faster changes in the Government's attitude towards information which has been withheld from the public, people concerned and their families for decades.
In this context the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection stated the following:
The Commissioner for information of Public Importance Rodoljub Sabic has passed two sub legal acts important for implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection. These are the Rules governing authentication of personal data, and the Rules regulating the form of special official ID of controllers - monitors who will be authorized by the Commissioner to have access to all information in performing their work. The Rules will come into effect following eight days upon their publishing in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia.
Commissioner for Information of Public Importance, Rodoljub Sabic, evaluates that persistent breach of law, pertaining to medical documents of tragically diseased patient by Health Center „Studenica" from Kraljevo, is extremely puzzling.
