Continuing the trend of raising awareness among Data Controllers and Processors about the proper implementation of the Personal Data Protection Act, lecturers from the Education and Certification Sector held a series of training sessions in May. The importance of such an intervention in the education sector was recognized, and online trainings continued every Friday for appointed data protection officers in primary schools. During May, four trainings were held for primary schools from the territories of West Bačka, North Banat, South Banat and Srem districts, covering 75 schools. During this period, two two-day training sessions were also held for Data Protection Officers in various local governments in cooperation with the Standing Conference of Cities and Municipalities in Kragujevac and Niš (38 people). In cooperation with the Serbian Association of Employers, a webinar was organized for 50 people from the public and private sectors. Continuing cooperation in this area, a training course on personal data protection and free access to information was organized in Zlatibor with the Chamber of Health Institutions for 80 participants from the healthcare sector. In cooperation with other stakeholders who provided us with the logistical prerequisites for organizing the training, training courses were also held for the private and public sectors in cooperation with Laura Consulting (10 people), as well as for employees of the AP Vojvodina (12 people). During the aforementioned period, a professional internship was implemented for students of the Legal Clinic for Environmental Law of the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade. At the same time, for 30 elementary school students in Kruševac, colleagues from the Sector for International Relations, Domestic Cooperation and Projects brought the subject of data protection closer to this target group at the BIG Itech FEST.
