The Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection today marks the Personal Data Protection Day, January 28, 2021. ;

In order to promote the celebration of the Personal Data Protection Day, Commissioner Milan Marinović was a guest on Studio B television in “Jutarnji program” on January 27, 2021, and on the same day he made a guest appearance on cable television Nova S, in the show “Pregled dana”. On the day of the event, the Commissioner was a guest on the RTS 1 morning program, and had a live broadcast on the N1 morning program. The Assistant Secretary General also had media appearances: on the regional TV station Al Jazeera, TV Happy, Radio Belgrade 1 and 2, and Radio 021. A large number of newsrooms were present at the celebration of the Day.

As part of the Privacy Week, from 25 to 29 January 2021, organized within a joint project of several civil society organizations "Save privacy – resist the pressure", representatives of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection participated in the following online panels ": judicial protection of the privacy of Serbian citizens; processing personal data during the pandemic and in anticipation of the new Law on the Social Cards. In the focus of the discussions were the current issues and problems related to the privacy of Serbian citizens, primarily in relation to the application of the legal framework for personal data protection.

Due to the great interest, media visits of the Commissioner are planned even after the celebration of the Personal Data Protection Day.
