Accredited lecturers of the Commissioner's Office held lectures on the application of the Law on Personal Data Protection to students of the short-term study program of the Faculty of Security as part of their professional practice at this institution from 18 to 23 September 2025. Zlatko Petrović held the introductory lectures on the position and organization of the Commissioner's work, as well as on data processing in employment relations and cookies in internet traffic, Milan Tomanović and Ivan Trišović presented to the participants of this program the Illustrative cases from the inspection supervision of the application of this regulation, and also the walkthroughs of proceeding of the Commissioner, the most common problems and issues that are closely monitored during the handling of inspection supervision cases. Marko Milošević and Marin Cetinić spoke about the ways of raising awareness among Data Controllers and citizens about this right, outlining how training sessions are planned and delivered. Furthermore, educational films were presented, aiming to bring this right closer to citizens. The Commissioner's actions in the area of exercising citizens' rights were showcased to the students, and how certain decisions were made in individual cases. The purpose of this approach is to provide a closer introduction to the segments of the Commissioner's work in implementing regulations within his jurisdiction.
