On August 1, 2022, the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection received written decisions by two companies, in which these companies designate their representative for the Republic of Serbia, in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection:
Tlive Pte. Limited, based in Singapore, and
Hong Kong Gathering Media Limited, based in Hong Kong.
On July 22, 2022, representatives of the Office of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Protection of Personal Data, Saša Vasiljević, Milan Tomanović, Marin Cetinić, and Marko Milošević, held an online training on the application of the Personal Data Protection Law. Persons who expressed interest in this training were representatives of regulatory bodies, public companies, social welfare institutions, lawyers, and others. The purpose of the training was to get acquainted with the provisions of the Law and to eliminate all doubts about its application.
Commissioner Milan Marinović, Deputy Commissioner Sanja Unković, and Advisor to the Commissioner Rada Kovačević held a meeting with the Mayor of Novi Sad Mr. Miloš Vucevic, and his deputy Mr. Milan Đurić.
Commissioner Milan Marinović held a meeting today with representatives of the Serbian Society of Autism. On that occasion, the Commissioner pointed out the obligations that associations have when processing the personal data of their members and other persons.
