On the second day of the study visit to Vienna, organized by the OSCE Mission to the Republic of Serbia, the Commissioner’s delegation, led by Commissioner Milan Marinović and Deputy Commissioner Sanja Unković, visited the Austrian Data Protection Authority and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Justice, where they were acquainted with the organization and functioning of these two bodies, which play a key role in personal data protection in Austria. Particularly beneficial was the introduction to the practice and experience of the Austrian Data Protection Authority in addressing the challenges of personal data protection in today’s era of widespread digitalization and the use of artificial intelligence.

On the third day of the study visit, meetings were held with representatives of the Federal Administrative Court of Austria and representatives of the Federal Chancellery of Austria. On this occasion, the members of the delegation were familiarized with the role of the Federal Administrative Court in personal data protection in Austria, and the country's level of digitalization and related personal data protection in these settings.
