On the third day of participating in the Third Week of Education and Exchange of Experiences and Practices in the Field of Personal Data Protection, being held from 1 to 4 December 2025 in Brussels, organized by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), the Regional School of Public Administration (ReSPA), the SIGMA Programme and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), with the support of the European Commission and the Council of Europe, Commissioner Milan Marinović and Deputy Commissioner Sanja Unković attended the event hosted by the European Data Protection Supervisor.

The full-day event was held on the premises of this important institution, which protects personal data within the bodies of the European Union. As part of the program, the Commissioner and the Deputy Commissioner participated in a panel on best practices for personal data protection authorities when drafting laws and other regulations, especially those governing personal data processing. The Commissioner, as one of the panelists, informed the attendees about the significant role of the Commissioner in legislative activities in Serbia.

In addition to this panel, sessions were also held dedicated to best practices and challenges in the supervision of modern technologies related to personal data processing, exchange of experiences in conducting supervision, as well as the role of the European Data Protection Supervisor and the Council of Europe in relation to the European Union Act on Artificial Intelligence.
