Commissioner for Information of public interest and the protection of personal data sent to the addresses of all higher education institutions in the letter which warned of the obligations relating to proactive disclosure of information about the work. Commissioner warned that all of these institutions, according to the Law on Free Access to Public Information has the obligation to publish the paper on their electronic presentations and that the failure to perform such obligations represents punishable offense.

Assessing the status of the performance of these duties completely unsatisfactory the Commissioner urged the deans and directors of these institutions to execute mentioned legal liabilities without delay.

In this context the Commissioner Rodoljub Šabić stated the following:

Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, said that the change of the Government of the Republic of Serbia must involve much more than intervention addressing already established Draft Decision on Amending the Rules of the Government has.

The Commissioner considers necessary to eliminate from the current Rules the provisions that govern on  completely inadequate legal manner the issues of confidentiality. The Commissioner also considers that it is necessary to do a more specific provisions governing the public's right to participate in the legislative process, or in the public debate on bills and laws that government brings.

Emphasizing that the minimum must be to eliminate the provisions of Article 43 and 96 applicable Rules, Rodoljub Šabić said the following:

The Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection warned all organizers of sporting events that the collection of photocopies of personal identification cards of individuals to whom the tickets are sold or given through fan clubs represents illegal personal data processing and asked them to stop with the aforementioned without further ado.

In this regard, the Commissioner Rodoljub Sabic stated the following:

The Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection Rodoljub Sabic sent a letter to the Government of the Republic of Serbia regarding the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Military Defense Agency and the Military Intelligence Agency.

The Commissioner commended the fact that the provisions related to secret electronic surveillance of telecommunications and information systems are harmonized with the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia in this Draft Law.
