The Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection has estimated the manner of the preparation of the budget revision by the Ministry of Finance as totally inappropriate.
Stressing that this is doubly counterproductive since, on one side, not only does it practically constitute a caricature of the legally guaranteed independent position of the Commissioner and some other monitoring and regulatory state authorities, but, on the other side, it also constitutes a missed opportunity to achieve more quality results in fixing of the budget deficit, the Commissioner, Rodoljub Sabic, has stated the following:

The Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection estimates that public utility companies have to take more account of the lawful treatment of the personal data of the citizens, who are the users of their services. Recalling that personal data may be processed and used only for the purposes stipulated by the law, or when the data owner has given his or her explicit consent, the Commissioner has warned that the any other treatment of personal data shall be considered illegal and punishable. In this regard the Commissioner, Rodoljub Sabic, has stated the following:
