Rodoljub Sabic, Commissioner for Information of Public Importance, had talks today with a delegation from the Independent Association of Serbian Journalists (NUNS), led by the Association's President, Mrs. Nadezda Gaće. The representatives of NUNS stated their commitment to the view that the public has the right to know about public decision-making processes.
In collaboration between the Service of Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Ministry of Internal Affairs, today in Belgrade was held a seminar dedicated to specific issues which appear in work of Ministry of Internal Affairs in application of the Law on Free Access to Information.
In work of the Seminar took part 34 representatives of the Secretariat of Internal Affairs and 16 representatives of Administrations of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Today on problems relating to the application of the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance had talks with officials empowered to proceed according to the Law and Under-Secretaries of most of the Republic Ministries.
A special attention was committed to the issue of public releasing of information on work.
Today, the Commissioner for information of public importance, had talks in Novi Sad, with the President of the Executive Council of Vojvodina, Mr. Bojan Pajtic, about implementation of the Law on access to information of public importance in Vojvodina.
