The Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection issued, acting in accordance with the law, an enforcement notice and requested the Anti-Corruption Agency, under threat of fines, to execute its decision within two days and submit to the Anti-Corruption Portal "Pistaljka" the requested information or documents from the case relating to the control of assets and income of the Mayor of Belgrade, with the proviso to protect personal data and make them unavailable before submission, if they are contained in these documents, such as the names of all persons other than those of officials and Sinisa and Marija Mali, and address data, Unique Master Citizen Number, bank account number, amounts of money in bank accounts, data about the address where the real estates are located, registration plate numbers of the means of transportation, etc.

Pursuant to Article 54, Paragraph 2 of the Law on Personal Data Protection, the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection has instituted supervision proceedings over the implementation of the Law by the Ministry of Interior.

Proceedings have been instituted on occasion of the request of the health institution that has been requested by the police department of the town where the institution is located to submit personal data of citizens who are treated based on the diagnosis code "F". In the document of the police department under which the data are requested it is indicated that the data are necessary "in order to act in accordance with the Instructions on the Manner of Organization and Conduct of Internal Affairs in the Security Sector, and to adequately update the sector's dossier."

In the letter addressed to the Anti-Corruption Agency, the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection has for the third, and the last time, urged the Agency to submit to him the documents from the case relating to the control of assets and income of the Mayor of Belgrade.

In his response to the new letter from the Agency, the Commissioner has estimated that the emphasis placed on "the great importance of cooperation between state authorities" by the Agency shall not be considered serious and sincere, because the Agency still refuses to submit the required documents.

Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection submitted a request to the Government of Serbia to ensure, via direct enforcement, in accordance with Article 28, paragraph 4 of the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance, compliance with the Commissioner's decision under which the company "Železara Smederevo d.o.o." was ordered to submit to the journalist of the Crime and Corruption Reporting Network copies of the Agreement between "Železara Smederevo d.o.o." and Bremer International Limited, concluded in 2013, and the Agreement between "Železara Smederevo d.o.o." and Bremer Trading Limited, concluded in 2015, as well as the documents from which one can learn when and how much money was paid by "Železara Smederevo d.o.o." to the said companies.
