Тraining Held and Professional Practice in Commissioner's Office
On April 5, 2023, the Commissioner's Office organized online training in the field of free access to information of public importance, at the request of 120 interested Information Officers and civil servants who attended the training. The goal of the training was to familiarize attendees with the amendments to the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance, where they could be able to present problems from the actual application of that law in practice. Special attention was heeded to the obligation to prepare Information Booklets and submit Annual Reports to the Commissioner. Accredited lecturers at the training were Jasna Mihailović and Mirela Zozi Jeković.
On the same day, the third professional practice started for participants of the short study program "Training for Personal Data Protection Managers" of the Faculty of Security in Belgrade, carried out based on an agreement concluded between the Office of the Commissioner and the Faculty of Security in Belgrade. During the professional practice, participants will have the opportunity to participate in practical classes in the field of personal data protection, gaining insight into the Commissioner's Office's organizational structure and way of operating.
The first group of the third generation of participants was welcomed by Commissioner Milan Marinović and Deputy Commissioner Sanja Unković, and the professional practice was held by accredited lecturers Zlatko Petrović and Marin Cetinić.
The Commissioner also attended the ceremony held on the occasion of Students' Day at the Students' City Cultural Center in New Belgrade, where he received a recognition award from the Belgrade Students' Union and the Student Parliament of the University of Belgrade for his exceptional contribution to the development of student standards and the academic development of students at the University of Belgrade.
